Mounter Description
Salary $19-$22 per hour

The job requires the candidates to fit and fabricate as needed to mount bodies as per specs. Candidate must also inspect completed work to make sure bodies are fitted properly, and make sure all the proper documentations and weight certification stickers are made for the unit.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Manufacture and fabricate finished metal parts for truck body up-fitting.
Use hand-welding or flame - cutting equipment to weld truck bodies by joining sheet metal components.
Install and repair various equipment and components as needed.
Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
Read and understand work orders.
Work independently
Use basic tools such as ratchets, wrenches, pliers, sockets, and air tools to grind materials, square parts/materials to fit accordingly, and cut or shorten parts/materials as needed per blue prints
Use any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies to install truck body
Qualifications
Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
Familiarity with MIG welding tools and procedures
Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
Ability to handle physical workload; lift up to 50 lbs periodically
Work Environment
This job operates in a shop production environment. Includes exposure to sounds and noise level that are distracting or uncomfortable. Requires working in a very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) temperatures. Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people. Requires exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites or stings. Requires exposure to hazardous equipment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50lbs periodically. Requires walking, standing, squatting, bending, climbing kneeling, crawling, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, repetitive movement, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Qualifications One year industrial/construction/general labor experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass pre-employment drug test, and physical. Must pass basic math test.
