Janitor
Salary $19.24-$20.28 per hour
Scelzi Enterprises, Inc. is looking to hire a Janitor with previous janitorial experience. Responsibilities include but not limited to keeping buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Performing routine maintenance activities, notifying Management or dept Lead of any needs for repairs to ensure all areas are safe.
Essential Functions

Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.
Mops, washes, buffs, and vacuum floors.
Empties trash.
Maintain outdoor walk areas including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
Help maintain landscape by watering, cutting, and trimming shrubs and grass.
Cleans and polishes fixatures.
Removing recycling materials.
Track and order cleaning supplies; must always have supply room stocked.
Dust and clean windows.
Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to Scelzi property or self.
Follow directions will little to no supervisory supervision.

Work Environment
This job operates in a shop production environment. Includes exposure to contaminants. Exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures. Exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings. Requires exposure to hazardous equipment and conditions. Requires work with others in a group or team. Requires coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities. Includes responsibility for the health and safety of others. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Requires wearing specialized protective or safety equipment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50lbs periodically. Requires standing, walking, repetitive movement, bending or twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, reaching, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Required Education and Experience Two plus years of work experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass basic math test including reading a measuring tape. Must Pass pre-employment drug test, and physical. Obtain a valid Driver License and must be insurable.
